How to analyze the sample of Natural Open Pistachio?
Taking the sample
One 40ft. container of pistachio contains 500 bags of 50kg. we take samples from almost 10% of bags to cover the whole of the cargo. on average we have 5kg of the sample after that.
Analyzing the sample
After specifying the size of the pistachio, proceed to count and calculate the percentage of the other items such as closed mouth, mechanical opened, colored and stained and… I tried to show each of them in detail in the video.
Note
- Remember to not count the pieces, weigh them and figure out the percentage! (Some items are smaller)
- The sample is gathered and minimized carefully, try to take care of it, nothing should be removed from the sample, even the existing dust.
- Remember to take about 500 grams of the sample as the Control Sample with you.
